Hotkeys
Visit the Hotkeys page to find the game and Anzus keybinds.
Q: How do I use or interact? A: Pressing your "Windows" key while looking at something opens its interaction menu.
Q: How do I mine/gather? A: Pressing "F" begins mining or gathering. Make sure you have a pickaxe or axe in hand if needed.
Q: How do I talk to people? A: Use your TeamSpeak push to talk keybind to use proximity chat. Your voice volume/distance can be adjusted using Ctrl+Tab. Your radio is set to CapsLock by default.
Q: How do I open my phone? A: Press your "Y" key to open your phone.
Q: How do I open my inventory? A: Use "Tab" to open your virtual inventory. Use "T" on a car or crate to open its virtual inventory. Use "I" to open physical inventories.
Q: How do I put my hands up/surrender? A: Use "Shift+B".
Q: How do I emote/use animations? A: Use "Ctrl+6" to open the circle menu. Click the options to select an animation. You can also stop animations under General > Cancel/Full Cancel
ANZUS Gameplay

Q: How to I play ANZUS? A: Learn how to get whitelisted, download mods, and set up TeamSpeak on the Getting Started page. To start playing, you might want to follow our Day One Guide
Q: Where do I buy things? A: General items such as food and drink can be found at Supermarkets, Gas Stations, and player-run Restaurants.
Q: How do I repair my vehicle? A: From outside the vehicle, use your Windows key and select "Repair Vehicle". You can do this faster with a repair kit in your virtual inventory.
Q: Where did my car go? A: ANZUS uses a cleanup script to reduce lag. You can confirm if your car is nearby by checking your Keys app. Your car will be returned to the garage on cleanup.
Q: How do I join the police, medics, or CTRG? A: To become a police officer, medic, or a member of CTRG you must apply on the forums.
Q: How do I join Mafia, Gangsters, or the Kingsmen MC? A: Joining these whitelisted groups must be done in RP. You cannot apply on the forums. Build relationships and be tactful when scouting these groups.
Q: How do I join a gang? A: Many official gangs accept forum applications. To join a gang in a game, a high-ranking gang member must invite you via the Gang Menu.
Q: What emojis can I use on Twitter? A: Bronze donator + can use these emojis on Twitter.
Support
Where to get general server support from staff or other community members.
Q: How do I get help? A: Check this page for troubleshooting guidance and other support. To get help in the game, press F2 to create a staff ticket. You can also ask for assistance using the TeamSpeak staff channels or in the #arma-support Discord channel.
Q: How do I report someone? A: If someone has broken a rule, you must have video evidence to report them. You may report a player via the forums or by joining the "Requesting Staff" channel on TeamSpeak. You can also file a report anonymously on the forums.
Q: How do I make a compensation request? A: Compensation requests may only be made when you lose items due to something you could not have prevented (e.g. an attack from a hacker, server lag, or scripts not functioning as they should). You may file a request on the forums. You must follow the rules and template.
Q: How do I report a bug? A: Make a bug report in the #bug-reports Discord channel.
Q: How do I change my name? A: To change your in-game name, create a Discord ticket. You can update your forum profile by changing your Display Name in your Account Settings.
Q: Where can I make a suggestion? A: You can make suggestions on the forums. You must follow the rules and template.
Tech Support
Issues Loading In
For errors or problems while trying to launch Arma/Anzus.
Error: Why does my game go black/unresponsive when loading? A: Do not press/click anything when loading in. Give it some time. Arma is often slow and a bit finicky.
Error: Session lost - Verifying PBO Failed A: This means you have a PBO loaded that is not supported on the server, this could mean you need to update your modpack or resync your Arma 3 Sync, or it means you could have loaded the incorrect mods. Make sure you have only loaded the ANZUSGaming Modpack, you do not need any other mods loaded.
Error: Wrong Signature File A: Check your mods on Arma 3 Sync and ensure they are fully up to date. Make sure you are not loading anything other than the ANZUSGaming Modpack. If this does not fix it, you can attempt to delete the file in question and its corresponding .bisign file and redownload them by updating your pack.
Error: Battleye: Game Restart Required A: Make sure you are launching with the default Arma3Launcher and not Arma3Sync, this is the launcher that starts when you run the game with Steam. If you are using the default launcher already then go to the BattlEye tab and ensure that BattlEye is enabled and running correctly.
Error: Session lost - File '@ANZUSGaming (...) Life/Addons/PBOName.pbo' not found A: Ensure the Modpack is loaded in the launcher and up to date.
Game Crashes
For common crash errors.
Error: Data file too short 'H:Steam\Steamapps\common\ARMA 3\@ANZUSGaming (...) Life\addons\PBONAME.pbo' A: Enter the addons folder inside of your modpack folder and delete the PBO in question. Update your modpack to restore the file.
Error: Error 0xC00005 - STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION A: This error code is vague, but it helps to have your game in full-screen windowed mode rather than standard full-screen mode.
In Game Issues
Issues specifically while playing Anzus.
Q: Why is my phone broken? A: To fix obscured or wonky phone icons, set your ARMA interface size too small or very small in settings.
Q: Why doesn't my Windows key work? A: Try these steps:
- Make sure you don't have your hands up (Shift+B once and see if you were visually bugged with your hands up)
- Check if your keyboard model has a 'Game Mode' because that will disable your Windows key.
- Go into custom control and rebind "user action 10".
Q: I don't have a Windows key: what do I do? A: Under Controls > Custom Controls > Use Action 10 : set a key to be used as your primary interaction key in place of a Windows key.
Q: Where did my hotbar go? A: Try syncing your player data with Shift+8 to reload your hotbar.
Q: Why am I moving/animating involuntarily? A: Sometimes movements and animations cat get stuck. Try Ctrl+6 > General > "Full Cancel" to cease movement.
TeamSpeak Issues
Issues with TeamSpeak or the Task Force Arrowhead Radio (TFAR) addon.
Q: What is the TeamSpeak server? A: The TeamSpeak IP is: ts.anzusgaming.com
Q: I get the error "Select an app to open this .ts3_plugin file” when downloading TFAR - what do I do? A: In the Windows pop-up message click “Choose an app on your PC”, and navigate to where you have your Teamspeak client downloaded. In this folder, you will find a .exe file named package_inst.exe, select this .exe and it will download your TFAR plugin.
Q: I do not have a package_inst.exe in my Teamspeak folder, and Teamspeak won’t download TFAR, what do I do? A: Try these steps:
- Press Windows + R Keys
- Type in the box that appears %appdata%
- Navigate to Roaming\TS3Client\plugins
- Download the .dll file provided here.
- Drag and drop the .dll file into the plugins folder!
Q: I can't connect to TeamSpeak: what do I do? A: Try these steps:
- Search on Windows for REMOTE DESKTOP.
- Open it and paste: ts.anzusgaming.com OR 54.39.78.188
- Click connect, do NOT enter a username or password.
- Leave it open and connect to TS (SHOULD work).
- Once working close the remote desktop.
Q: Why am I not moved to the TFAR channel?
A: Try these steps:
- Check you have the "Member" TeamSpeak tag. If not, see the "Requesting Tags" TeamSpeak channel for support.
- Make sure you do not have two TeamSpeak3 windows open.
- In TeamSpeak: Tools > Options > Addons > TFAR: Check the addon is "Enabled"; try reloading the addon.
- Run TeamSpeak as Administrator (you may need to reload again if you are still in the game).
